The BellSouth Video Conferencing Center (BVCC) provides support for BellSouth Video Conferencing Service (BVCS) and is here to help in any way we can. This page provides some helpful information for new users. If you don’t see an answer to your question here please call us at (800) 777-8805.

Q: Where do I call when I have questions about the scheduler (including scheduling, modifying or canceling conferences)?

A: The BellSouth Video Conferencing Center provides support for BVCS and can be reached at (800) 777-8805. Choose the option code that most closely matches your question and you will be connected to a representative who can assist.

Q: Where do I call if my site cannot get into my scheduled videoconference?

A: The BellSouth Video Conferencing Center provides troubleshooting assistance if you are having difficulty connecting to your conference. Troubles will be isolated as quickly as possible with the goal being to get your site into your conference as quickly as possible. If you can’t connect to your conference, please call the BVCC at (800) 777-8805.

Q: How do I get a Username and Password for the scheduler?

A: Access to the scheduler is provided during the certification phase of each site’s implementation. When turning up new sites we will request information about the personnel in your organization that require access to the scheduler. This information includes each person’s name, address, phone number, fax number and e-mail address. Access to your sites can be provided at three levels, these being read only, scheduler and administrator. This tiered approach to security provides the ability to tailor the access to the scheduler to the job junctions of each person in the organization.

Getting Access After Sites Are Established:

  • Access to sites within your own organization: If you need access to scheduler sites within your own organization, then contact your coordinator. They will be able to answer questions and provide the necessary information to us through existing channels. If you are not sure who to contact internally, then contact your BellSouth Account Team or the BellSouth Video Conferencing Center.

  • Access to sites in an outside organization (one that you don’t work for): If you need to access another organization’s sites, then you will need to have permission from them before BellSouth can provide access to you that would allow you to schedule their sites. This is done to protect your interests and prevent unauthorized scheduling of sites. Once a site is scheduled, that commits the site’s owner to pay for that conference. If you need access to scheduler another organization’s sites, then download the Authorized Requester Form, complete the section about yourself, and then fax or mail the form to the site coordinator/administrator for the site(s) to which you are requesting access. They will complete the form, sign it and forward it to the BVCC. Once an Authorized Requester Form is received at the BVCC, it is logged and the requested access is provided. Notification is usually sent via e-mail or via a telephone call.

Q: I can get into the scheduler, but I don’t know what to do next. Who can help?

A: The BellSouth Video Conferencing Center is available at (800) 777-8805 to provide assistance. Choose the option code for “Scheduling”.

Q: How do I get notified when I schedule a conference or when a modification occurs?

A: In the scheduler, you control your settings so that you receive notification via e-mail, facsimile or both. To access your settings, click on the icon next to your Username and the “My Settings” page will load. You can then change and save the method(s) by which you will be notified. The icon looks like this:
